Experience a memorable afternoon with the Sherman Chamber Ensemble for our annual "Best of Baroque" concert.
This year’s performance features the innovative artistry of Evan Shinners (piano), a Yamaha Artist and Juilliard graduate. Renowned for his daring approach to J.S. Bach, Shinners has revolutionized the listener experience, bringing Bach's masterpieces to life in both world-class halls and unconventional pop-up venues with humor and joy.
We are also thrilled to welcome oboist Noah Kay for his ensemble debut. A versatile soloist and member of the acclaimed WindSync quintet, Kay serves as Principal Oboe of the Colorado Springs Philharmonic and Symphony in C, with additional credits including the Orpheus Chamber Orchestra and Orchestra of St. Luke’s.
The program also features ensemble favorites Susan Rotholz (flute), Jane Chung (violin), Sarah Adams (viola), and Eliot Bailen (cello).
